What is Meditation?

Meditation is the practice of resting the mind and entering a state of consciousness that differs from our typical waking state. It offers a powerful pathway to ease, presence, and inner stillness.

Through regular practice, meditation activates the parasympathetic nervous system—our natural relaxation response—helping to calm the body, reduce stress, and support the elimination of toxins. This gentle shift allows the body to return to a state of balance, or homeostasis, where healing and restoration naturally occur.

Whether you’re new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, this session provides a supportive space to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate a deeper sense of well-being.

WHAT IS SOUND HEALING?

Sound healing is an ancient practice that uses the vibrational frequencies of instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, chimes, and other tonal tools to support deep relaxation and holistic healing. These sound vibrations work on every level of being—physical, mental, emotional, and energetic.

On a physical level, sound frequencies can influence the body down to the cellular level, promoting rest, release, and rejuvenation. Mentally, sound therapy entrains the brain to shift into calmer brainwave states, reducing stress and enhancing clarity. Energetically, it helps clear blockages and rebalance both stagnant and overactive energy within the body’s energetic field.

Sound Journey Savasana

Everything in existence carries a vibrational frequency—and sound has a profound effect on how we feel, think, and heal. Healing frequencies help bring the body, mind, and spirit back into balance by restoring energy to a neutral, harmonious state.
In this deeply restorative session, you’ll be guided into savasana, the yogic resting pose, as a variety of sound healing instruments fill the space with resonant tones and vibrations. Metal and crystal singing bowls, Tingsha bells, ocean drums, crystal pyramids, and gongs will be used to create a soothing soundscape that supports relaxation and energetic alignment.
Sound healing is an ancient practice with modern benefits. It is increasingly embraced in the West for its ability to promote deep rest, reduce chronic pain, support emotional well-being, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and improve sleep quality.

No experience necessary. Simply bring your mat, blanket, and pillow to enhance your comfort while lying down. Props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks, head pillows, and eye pillows will also be available to support your relaxation.

Chakra Sound Healing Meditation
“Chakra” is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel” or “disk.” These energy centers within the body function as vortexes—receiving, processing, and transmitting energy to maintain physical, emotional, and energetic balance.
In this sound healing session, we will bring focused awareness to one or more chakras, using intentional sound frequencies to support healing, alignment, and balance. Each chakra corresponds to specific areas of the body and mind, and the vibrations from sound instruments help to clear blockages and restore flow.
This gentle practice invites deep relaxation and energetic reset. No prior meditation experience is necessary—just come as you are, open to receiving.

New Moon Sound Healing Meditation
This meditation will combine the start of the lunar cycle with the many benefits of sound healing. During this experience, the focus will be this time of new beginnings and time to set intentions with the energies of what is being brought forward for manifestation in your life. The entire experience will be an immersion into sound healing through crystal and metal singing bowls and other sound healing tools to promote balance within the body, mind and spirit by bringing the frequency back to a state of neutral.

Full Moon Release & Sound Healing Meditation
The Full Moon marks the peak of the lunar cycle—a powerful moment when energies reach their fullest expression. It is a time of illumination, reflection, and release. As the moonlight shines bright, we are invited to let go of what no longer serves us: outdated patterns, limiting beliefs, toxic thoughts, and emotional weight such as guilt, fear, or disappointment.
This sacred time encourages forgiveness, deep inner work, and emotional clearing. Through intention and presence, we create space for healing, transformation, and renewal.
You’ll be guided into a meditative journey supported by the resonant tones of singing bowls, allowing your body and mind to settle deeply. The vibrations aid in calming the nervous system, restoring balance, and amplifying the energy of release.

Loving-Kindness Meditation (Metta Bhavana)
Metta Bhavana, or loving-kindness meditation, is a practice rooted in the Buddhist tradition that focuses on cultivating compassion—for ourselves, for others, and for the world around us. Though it originates in spiritual teachings, this practice is universal and accessible to anyone, regardless of background or belief.
In this session, we’ll explore the importance of compassion as a healing force, beginning with a short discussion and followed by a gently guided loving-kindness meditation. Through intentional phrases and visualization, we’ll open the heart and extend kindness inward and outward, fostering a deep sense of peace, empathy, and emotional balance.
