What is Meditation?

Meditation is a practice to rest the mind and reach a state of consciousness that is different from the normal awake state.  It creates ease in the body by allowing the parasympathetic nervous system to relax and eliminate toxins in the body.  It helps the body return to homeostasis.

Full Moon Meditation
7:15 – 7:45 PM

The Full Moon is the peak of the lunar cycle. The energies build up to this event and allow a connection to release the old, to release negative patterns, toxic thoughts, and habits. A time to let go of lower energies like guilt, fear, disappointment, etc… The energy of the Full Moon provides time for forgiveness and inner work for healing, shifting and shedding.

Loving-Kindness Meditation

Metta bhavana, or loving-kindness meditation, is a method of developing compassion. It comes from the Buddhist tradition, but it can be adapted and practiced by anyone; loving-kindness meditation is essentially about cultivating love. In this session, we will talk about the importance of compassion for yourself and others, then be guided through a loving kindness meditation.

Chakra Meditation

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning disk or wheel. The body contains chakra energy centers that are like vortexes for energy coming into the body, leaving the body and maintaining the energetic body. In chakra meditation, we will focus on an energy center to bring awareness to the area to assist with healing and balancing.

Meditation Coaching (One-on-One)

One-on-One meditation allows for a personalized meditation experience in a safe and supported space. The initial consultation will provide time to discuss what you wish to learn and gain from your meditation practice. Book your consultation or one-on-one meditation session under the services tab.

  • Initial Consultation: $33
  • 1 Meditation session:  $25

The initial consultation will be scheduled for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Each meditation session will be scheduled for 30 minutes.
